Following last week's clashes between Arab Choas and Mousgoums/Massa populations, which left about twenty dead, the promoter of the movement 11 million Northerners, Guibaï Gatama reacts. Indeed, the latter has initiated a surge of solidarity with the 50,000 displaced people of Logone and Chari.
For the Editor of the newspaper L'œil du Sahel, "Extreme poverty in the Far North, a cozy mattress for conflicts related to basic needs, is a serious threat to national security. The government delegation sent to Logone and Chari has to face the real problem: extreme poverty."
