Midjiyawa Bakary begins Friday, December 10, a three-day peace mission following violent clashes between these two communities in Logone Birni.

The Far North region is on fire and blood. Clashes between the Arab Choas and Mousgoums/Massa communities are taking a turn of carnage. Faced with the explosive situation linked to intercommunal clashes in the department of Logone Birni, the governor of the Far North region will begin Friday, a tour of awareness to near populations on living together and peace.

Indeed, this three-day mission, which will end on Sunday, December 12, will put an end to this deadly conflict between the two communities that are supposed to live together. In recent days, several Cameroonians have fled the violence to neighbouring Chad. Yesterday Wednesday, December 8, these videos of burned houses that invaded the web to the great dismay of public opinion who castigated the inaction of the government.
