At the end of the first semi-final played at the Kigali Arena on Wednesday night, Petro Luanda got the better of FAP, 88 to 74.

The Armed Police Forces (FAP) bowed at the door of the final. Cameroon's representative in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) was dominated by Angolan opponent Petro de Luanda for the first three quarters: 13-22; 22-24; 12-23.

After this victory against the Cameroonians, Petro de Luanda qualified for the final of the BAL in Kigali Arena of Rwanda. The Angolan team will be fixed on its next opponent at the end of the meeting of Zamalek, defending champion against the US Monastir of Tunisia this Thursday, May 26.
