They will be responsible for vaccination and performing PCR and TDR tests throughout the competition.

The special sanitary device Can 2021 is ready. Indeed, 2,000 health care staff will be mobilized across the host cities (Yaoundé, Douala, Limbé, Bafoussam and Garoua) of the football competition. The Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (Cousp) plans to carry out one million tests between 9 January and 6 February 2022. These tests will apply to both competing teams and spectators.

Access to the different stages of the CAN 2021 by fans is conditioned by the possession of a negative PCR test of at least 72 hours and a certificate of complete vaccination against the coronavirus. The Ministry of Health has planned about 2 million doses of vaccines and 2.5 million PCRet TDR tests for the occasion.
