Two official documents are put forward to support this position. The first is a letter from ELECAM dated April 24, 2025, addressed to Anicet Ekane as president of MANIDEM, explicitly confirming his status. The second is a document signed by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji, also recognizing Ekane as the party’s legitimate president. These documents, according to the post, make Kamto’s candidacy legally unassailable.
The message rejects the claims of a certain Yebga to lead MANIDEM, calling them a « farce » with no effect on Kamto’s candidacy. He points out that neither MINAT nor ELECAM have modified their recognition of Ekane as president of MANIDEM, rendering any challenge null and void. Since April 2025, no legal changes have been recorded within the party.
