They were filmed beating the detainee with a machete at ngousso police station last September. Before the bar, they reject these accusations en bloc.

Arrested at Kondengui Central Prison for two months, the five police officers from Ngousso police station accused of physical violence against an alleged thief are in front of the bar. During their trial held at the Court of First Instance administrative center in Yaoundé on November 29, 2021, the defendants dispute the accusations of "physical violence" inflicted on an alleged thief, the named Tchoumi Cyrille.

According to the Kalara newspaper that followed the case, "In front of the bar, the cops all rejected the acts of torture attributed to them and spoke instead of a correction and a response that they opposed to a violent and recalcitrant detainee. During their statements, the police explain that the supposed thief had tried to escape twice and engaged in a fight against the head of the brigade responsible for taking him to a cell. According to the defendants, they say they acted on the orders of the alleged complainant, a certain William Kamga, who would also be the author of the video that had made the rounds of social networks. As for the alleged thief, he was released on bail.

For the record, in mid-September 2021, a video that went viral ignited the web. The police officers: police officer André Arol, police inspector David Keyo, chief peacekeeper Kolwé, and peacekeepers Marguérite Ngoh and Ndjea Foualem are filmed inflicting "inhuman treatment" in the words of the General Delegate for National Security to the so-called Chumi Cyrille suspect in a case of burglary. The scene takes place at the Public Security Commission of the 18th arrondissement in Ngousso in the city of Yaoundé. On 24 September 2021, they were referred to the prosecutor's office of the Yaoundé Administrative Centre, together with the complainant.
