Signs posted around the stadium by the company Magil warn users under penalty of a fine.

Faced with the recent photos of the Olembé stadium under construction circulating on social networks and showing that the work on the site was not completed, the Magil company has taken a radical decision.

Users are now prohibited from taking a photo of the Olembé stadium. Anyone caught in violation will be peaceful with a considerable fine. "Prohibition to take photos on the site, under penalty of confiscation of the camera / phone used and a fine of up to 10,000,000 FCFA," writes the company on posters posted throughout the site.

The Minister of Sports, in a video posted by his communication services on Saturday, December 4, explained to Cameroonians the reasons why the Olembé stadium was not received on Friday, December 3, 2021.

However, CAF usually requires to receive the keys to the infrastructure within three months before the competition. Cameroon had already benefited from a period free of charge of thirty days, not counting the delay caused by the shift from 2019 to 2021.
