Five of the 50 activist activists detained in Kondengui Prison as part of the Repression of Peaceful Protests on 22 September 2020 were released without any court decision on 9 December 2021, according to the spokesperson of the cameroon Renaissance Movement (MRC) lawyers' collective, Hippolyte Meli.
According to him, of the 50 victims of the repression of the peaceful marches of September 22, 2020 detained at the central prison of Kondengui, in Yaoundé, 04 will be tried on December 21 while 46 others stay there without a closed military instruction.
