Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute today inaugurated a 5-star hotel in Akwa, in the city of Douala. On the eve of the African Cup of Nations, which begins on 9 January 2022, the Krystal Hotel is the first establishment of its kind to be built in the economic capital. The hotel complex is requested to host the CAF delegation.
Its construction will have cost a little more than 8 billion FCFA to its promoter, the Cameroonian businessman Samuel Foyou. The infrastructure has 237 rooms, six restaurants, and various amenities worthy of a 5-star. Spaces conducive to welcoming foreigners who will stay in Douala during the 33rd edition of the CAN.
