Of the target population (18 years and older) estimated at nearly 14 million souls, only 4.6% is fully vaccinated compared to 5.9% partially vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to data released today by the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI). In detail, 1,002,171 doses of vaccine were administered across all brands.
To date, according to Health Minister Manaouda Malachi, 108,026 positive cases of Covid-19 have been recorded across the country for 105,735 cured cases. There are 42 hospitalized cases, 20 of which are under respiratory assistance. The deceased numbered 1841. This represents an estimated case fatality rate of 1.7% against 97.9 cure rate.
