The public telecom operator Camtel, in a statement made public today announces a major outage on its network, also affecting other operators it serves such as Orange Cameroon or Yoomee. "In the early hours of Monday, December 6, Camtel equipment was seriously damaged.This has led to a serious disruption in the services offered to all our direct customers and all operators. " explains the note.
According to Camtel, "the first findings, subject to the result of the ongoing investigations, reveal an act of sabotage". However, "Camel's technical teams are working hard to restore as soon as possible the provision of a service in line with the expectations of our customers," reassures the operator.
